Odd humming noise ?

Every time I open the hood on my 2025 Bronco Sport,
There is a humming noise in the engine compartment.
I have not started the engine.
It eventually goes away.
Does anyone have the same problem or know what the hum is ?

Are you talking about after shutting the car off? I think that might be the headlights. When you hear the humming maybe put your ear to the headlight. After driving and shutting off my BS I sometimes hear the headlights humming. From others posting on the forum there is a fan with the headlights to help keep them cool.

I did not start the Bronco.
I had not started it at all today.
I opened the hood and heard the humming.
Very odd.

All kinds of relays & such cycling when you approach with the fob on your person. It still drives me nuts after 8 months.

There are many threads on this. It is the LED headlights cooling fans. They come on every time a door or the hood opens.

This is Completely Normal. The fans in the headlights will activate when ever the BCM wakes up. Opening the hood woke it up.

Technically opening the drivers door woke everything up to pull the hood release. lol

I get that on my BS too. It's coming from somewhere on the drivers side frt grill
