I am no mechanic but every car I have ever owned has its own unique noise. You have to get way up in price before the factory starts putting in noise dampening solutions.. None of the Fords have it that I know of you would need to go Lincoln, test drove one of those once and it is like a completely different company built it.

But my BS OB has noise like that or similar. Plastic rubbing or something.

Lol unsafe? That’s a little dramatic…

That rattle is the seat belt mechanism in the b pillar. They are faulty, mention it to your dealer and they will replace it. They just had to replace mine at the local quick lane. Took them like an hour, had to wait a few weeks for the part to come in.

Turn on the radio … solved. Or put your wife in the passenger seat … solved. Two kids in the back … solved.

Yeah, I didn't hear anything crazy.

That seat belt slide at the top of the b pillar was making a racket in mine a few weeks after I got it, I just slid the slider down and that solved it, seems to adjust the height of the belt for over the shoulder, slides a little side to side.

But, it's not making that rattle anymore........ :like:
