Just installed a set of Nitto Nomad Grapplers 235/65/17 on my 2022 Badlands. Thank you @Discount Tire!!
This is a new tire from Nitto, and there isn't a lot of info or reviews out there for them yet. So far I love them! They are a XL rated All Terrain tire designed for crossovers and SUVS, similar to offerings like BFG Trail Terrains, Falken A/T Trails and some others. They are tough and ready for some off road usage but are also quiet, light, and handle well on pavement. I had a set of the BFG Trail Terrains on my previous 4runner and really liked them, I almost went with them again but decided to try out the Nittos and am so glad that I did. They are much more aggressive in person that photos show, and more aggressive in appearance than the BFGs. They have good sidewall protection and look fantastic (subjective, I know).
Just got them yesterday so not sure how the mpg will be affected, but hopefully it won't be much, as the 2.0 isn't the most efficient as it is. They are super quiet at all speeds and haven't affected my speedometer at all, and I sized up from the stock 225/65/17 Perelli's (my 2021 4runner's speedo was off after I added the BFGs, even though they were the same size as factory, so I was worried about this on my BS, so glad it is still spot on).
This is the perfect size and type of tire for this rig IMO and I'm very happy with it. These Nittos seem like they were designed for the Bronco Sport. I'm excited to get them in the dirt and snow (they are 3PMS rated which was a must have for me) and see how they hold up and perform here in the Rocky Mountain region. I spend a lot of time exploring forest roads and two tracks throughout Wyoming and Colorado, I think these will be perfect for that and easy to live with day to day.
If you're interested in a set check them out at Discount Tire!
