Roger that Nam3.
As for the 380 in that mesh catch all next to the gear knob.
May as well throw the thing in the floor board cause that’s where it’s gonna wind up.
NOT Secure at all.
Betcha can’t reach it down there.

Be aware that if you hit another car or object going at a good rate of speed that magnet probably won't hold and the gun will become an airborne heavy flying object.

I'm speaking from experience after having been in 3 good sized wrecks.

I carry my Sig IWB while I'm driving. I can't even feel it when I'm sitting down, so it's comfy and it's easy enough to access if I need it.

dang all you with your open carry states. if we did that in Canada, pretty sure a swat team would surround me and take all my guns away. even just to take a pistol to the range is a daunting task. but i do love my glock, and i have a just right carbine in 9mm (glock internals).

sick mount, i really like that!

I will really get your goad then. We can open carry or concealed carry without a CCW in AZ haha.

not that it is a good idea if God forbid it was ever needed. But that CCW does help in court.

It's in a Sticky holster, fitted to the gun. Can pull it from the holster while it's in the netting without an issue. Never had an issue with it moving at all while driving. Haven't had any knicks or dings on the plastic from keeping it there. And yes, I can reach it no issue. Just as quick as being able to lift my shirt and pull from IWB, and much quicker than flipping open the center console and removing the center insert to get to it.

My EDC is a Sig P227 .45ACP. I like the big caliber. Normally wear it OWB RH draw. When traveling long distances I switch to my shoulder holster that travels more comfortably during long trips. I've tried the two sided tape and magnet on other vehicles and didn't have any luck with it. After too many repetitions of securing and drawing the pistol the tape came loose.

You do realize the .380 is the same diameter as the 9mm, right? It just a shorter cartridge/load. My Browning (1911 .380, 85% size of a full size 1911) in an IWB at 4 o’clock, is a great shooter. Open carried for a while. I quit only because my OC is a Sig 1911 (full size, .45) and my husband started having seat damage in his vehicle. Holster rub started splitting the seat seams.

oh. Yeah. Totally. I don’t actually discount a .380. I wouldn’t want to get shot with a .22 either.

I just like the terminal perform of 9MM A bit more. If my wife was a carrier .380 would probably be the way to go.

my sig is in a brovo concealment torsion in aiwb. I have a bit of a tactical shelf… as many of us do, and it just rides flatter there. Being a 320 xcarry, the grip is full size and tends to print BIG on my 4oclock. Plus I’m cross eye dominant. So I actually carry slightly cross hand aiwb as it is easier to find my sights with a morevertical draw.

I hate my rifle irons tho. Cross eye dominance doesn’t play well with them.

Cross eye dominance is a royal pain, especially with rifles. I practice right and left handed. I actually have a lefty holster for CC. In theory I could carry 3-4 o’clock and 7-8 o’clock. ?

My net bag is looser I guess. I wouldn’t put even my cell phone in it sitting up.
As for the shirt I forget that not everyone is in an open carry state as I am.
A pew pew left in a car should be locked up and hidden. I know me, I’d forget and walk away leaving it in the car.

Yep,
It ain’t the size of your tool or how or where you hang it.
It’s how well you use it.

Yes. I recently started training myself to use my dominant hand (right) after shooting leftie for over 30 years. Basically, it's been eye discipline. I'm actually a better shot now. Probably not because of the switch, but because of the eye discipline.

One of my daughters also has the cross eye dominant issue.
