I believe the cost of the extended warranty increases after year 1 or 12k miles.I'll be calling you guys for extended warranty, closer to 30 months.
Sounds goodI'll be calling you guys for extended warranty, closer to 30 months.
I have no trouble with the pick up on the OBX, it is perfect for where I drive, including occasional drives through Boston and it's environs. I do go through the Adirondaks occasionally visiting my FIL. I only miss the extra nudge of power a few places along the route.
The 3 cylinders... I guess we will see. Maybe Granger for the extended warranty? Not sure about that yet. My MPG is generally 27 or so by the dial. Higher if not stop and go.
I think your wife is going to love a BS. I love mine, and so do my friends!
Cool! Well I’m sure you are getting better gas mileage with yours.Amusingly, your cactus gray with black roof is exactly what I have, except for the better engine. Well done!!![]()
NICE! But, I know right!!By the way, I set my sound to surround. It does make a difference. Thanks for the help BHShaman!
Congratulations! So glad to hear she loves it! Enjoy the new ride.![]()
My wife and I decided on the OBX with moonroof, CoPilot Assist, Cargo Management, and Tech package. On Saturday we had to drive about two hours to find a dealership that had one.
When we arrived at the dealership the first thing my wife noticed was that it had a huge dent on the back bumper. It was actually a hole in the bumper about the size of a trailer hitch. The dealer said they could either fix it or give us some money off but my wife didn’t really want to do that.
She saw a Badlands with the Premium package so we ended up test driving the OBX first and then the Badlands. I really liked the extra power on the Badlands.
The dealer discounted the Badlands to about $2,000 more than the out the door price for the OBX and we couldn’t resist.
I really wanted the cargo management system and the CoPilot package but we can live without them. The moonroof didn’t really matter since we never use those on our other cars.
My wife absolutely loves it! I just hope she lets me drive it every once in a while.
I second thatCactus grey with a black-roof is the goto in Badlands trim... or so I've heard...hahaha

Number 3 fuse blank in the interior fuse block . It will be on when you turn on engine and goes off when you turn off engine.I like your grille lights. Which ones are they and is it wire to your other lights or do you have a switch?
I miss the auto-wipers I had in my "not so Eco, not so Sport", but that's about it. It would take a mob hit to get me away from my BB. Okay, an even trade for a Raptor!Female here for input--
I enjoy the heated seats and steering wheel for sure. (Most likely a non issue in NC)I have an '22 OB with the leather and a premium package. I find the seats to be comfy, and really like the adjustable lumbar support. It's not Audi level lumbar by any means, but the seat fist me nicely.
Blind spot warning works like a charm.
I have 360+ but don't use it much as I don't have too many crazy drivers or that much traffic to deal with. In NC I'd probably use it more. I have relatives in the R/D area and have witnessed what those folks call driving. Yikes.
Auto lights are fine, although I find myself taking over for the auto on curvy roads. I like the control. The auto wipers are fine enough as well. But not a deal breaker.
The 10 speaker system doesn't sound that impressive to me, but it does the job.
The wireless charger on mine is a joke as the phone slides around in the cubby and off of the charger often. The charger speed on my '22 is absurdly slow (I've had the dealer look at it and they did something that amounted to nothing) So I plug my phone in from the center console.
The leather is very nice, but dog drool can be a bit of a hassle and my dog isn't much of a drooler. The regular fabric would be a bonus there.
An actual spare tire is always a good thing.
If I did it again, and had less stop and go traffic and more weird highway drivers to deal with, I'd go for a Badlands. Although I have never felt unsafe with the response of my 3 banger, the extra nudge when you need it could helpful in traffic. Plus you'd get a bit more towing # if you go that route. I can't help but think the 4 cyl will be more reliable in the long run than the 3.
