Price increases are incredible & for some reason (constraints on producing enough 2.0s?) they seem to disproportionately affect the BL. Unfortunate as it seemed like an easy bargain last fall. $48K at time of order, $53K on the window sticker. Not that I wouldn’t have anyways, but now I’m doubly glad I kept this paperwork as it shows & proves the previous price.

When I ordered I recall an Escape Titanium was about $44K, which might be about where the OB BS was as well. Both those on build & price tonight, at least as close as to what I recall, are now $47K. For $53K if I stuck out of the options list you could get into a Corsair for that. Mind you if I went that far I’d want to get into checking too many boxes & blow any value & budget right out of the water.

Still the best vehicle for me, I’m just glad it cost $5K less (Yes all these figures are in Monopoly money for those wondering) at time of order.

EDIT: Ok had to go back & try a Maverick just to see. Lariat with Luxury & FX4 seems to be as close to my BL order as I could come up with. $44K. I mean good luck getting one, but still. Kinda seems like a bargain in comparison.

WOW! That's pretty expensive. Glad you got the cargo management . I spaced out thinking I could get it later.

I ordered my BS BL back in November, and picked it up this past Thursday. My sales rep initially brought out a financing sheet showing my $1,000 rebate being applied against the full MSRP. I had to pull out a copy of my original order which showed a $3,500 difference in price. After prompting, they did end up adjusting the price down by the full $3,500. That said, had I not mentioned it (and had a copy of my order sheet) they probably would’ve tried to get the current MSRP rather than my price protected price. Definitely look over all the details and numbers when you go in to purchase. Best of luck!
Thanks. Glad it worked out for you.

AH yes, that’s one you’d think is just a dealer installed option like the floor mats. I’m not sure I would’ve realized that you ‘can’t‘ add it after if I hadn’t been reading on here. Honestly I wasn’t sure even then as those rails to support the tray do jut into the cargo area. But figured if I’m that tight for space hauling big enough things around that the rails are a deal breaker, then I’ll just go rent a truck. Or go buy another old ranger If I really need one a lot more than I think I will. Honestly I expect to use it a fair bit with the flip up glass for quick/easy cargo like groceries.

MJE's post is a signed order sheet. The first pic is a signed price estimate*. If that's all that is signed, good luck with the dealer.

It's all up to the dealer's ethics anyway. They really only agree to order a vehicle spec'd the way you describe. It's probably better than it was in the past, but it's still far from perfect.

Very good point. It even says at the top, "ESTIMATE." If you don't have a signed order sheet the dealer definitely has a leg to stand on.

With that said, if the order was placed before the deadline they SHOULD honor the mentioned price.

I have the same price sheet and my order was processed with the Business Manager, including my x-plan discount. My deal was all done that day. I just need to go in and sign the paperwork when my truck arrives. I was told I was price-protected on the price and the interest rate. If there is a better interest rate when I go in then I can secure that rate. Honestly, it's the $1,000 deposit that locks the deal. My window sticker is CAD $4k more than when I went into the dealership.

I see your base price is $850 less than mine so there must have been a price increase between Nov/21 and Feb/22. Not as big as the increase that came out in Apr/22. My premium package is $50 more.

Must’ve been. Both in base price & each option being just a little bit more. The premium is now $300 more! In fact by comparing the original sheet to the window sticker, each & every item went up by something save for wheels/tires oddly enough. & honestly I’d be ok if the price increase was only $850. That’s something I can absorb. But thousands? Yikes I wish my wages went the way of this inflation! ? & don’t we all.

Acts as a privacy cover too.

$44,000 for a Bronco sport !!!!!
All the toys in the world would not get me to spend that much on one.
These things should top out at no more than $38,000
I was not surprised by all the price increases along the way.
Cost wise the Bronco Sport is loosing its edge over the other makes.

I agree! Will not not be spending that on a sport either. Unless I get the the $2500 price increase and the $1000 incentive removed I will not purchase. Another guy in this thread has his up to I beleive $52.000.

agreed

paid 34635 (d plan). I told my wife “if it gets over 36k I’m rethinking this”
its cool but it ain’t 40k cool. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

they are loosing their edge but the market is supporting that.

That might’ve been me. Which is $42K US. These recent price increases sure do take away some of the value proposition of the Sport.
