Your back window looks different than any others I’ve seen.
Looks to me that it’s an AfterMarket Rear Window Defroster ???Your back window looks different than any others I’ve seen.
It's after market tint. It's a base with no factory privacy glass. If you saw my 2006 Escape, you'd know how I know!Looks to me that it’s an AfterMarket Rear Window Defroster ???
It was purchased brand new this way.Looks to me that it’s an AfterMarket Rear Window Defroster ???
Came that way new ... did add aftermarket legal tint on all windows.Your back window looks different than any others I’ve seen.
Sorry my Bad.It was purchased brand new this way.
My 2006 Escape came the same way without privacy windows. When you add aftermarket tint, the rear defroster lines are more apparent.Came that way new ... did add aftermarket legal tint on all windows.
I think it depends which side of the window the tint is applied to.I agree, looks like someone added tint after the fact. Mine looks nothing like that.

Most apply the tint to the inside. I know there have been claims regarding applying it on the outside but I wouldn’t.I think it depends which side of the window the tint is applied to.
Thank you!!!!! Finally someone who ISN'T focusing and commenting about the rear defroster. The post was about the "TUSHY Tuesday" on the BS. I chose to do a patriotic blackout version ... TX and USA flag overlays and black lettering. But for some reason all the comments were about the thing evidently they didn't like ... how the factory rear defroster is visible. That's how they all look IF you have a BASE BS and then do legal limit aftermarket ceramic tint.
