One is a crack in the windshield, that I hope won't hold things up much. The second is a real annoyance with the Build & Price website vs. cars that are already available. At issue is the Outer Banks Tech Package, which is on the vehicle my dealer was able to acquire on a Dealer Trade. Silly me, I thought this was the SAME as the Tech Package on the Build & Price website. But NO, the one of the website for ordering is $100 more than the one listed on the window sticker. The functional difference is Power Folding Mirrors. The lady I spoke with at Ford directly could not even find this in the ordering guide, apparently Ford now has the Tech Package+, amazingly what that one little "+" sign can do. Luckily for me, Power Fold is not a deal breaker, just thought I would give anyone who is about to order a heads up. Same for the Badlands, this is part of the Assist 2.0, you will see this if you add the Tech Package on the Build & Price website, it shows up when the Assist 2.0 is added. Per that site it will be Standard on the Badlands.

I think that power folding mirrors is a must on a truck (my F150's are used all the time), but I really can't think of a situation where I needed them on the Sport. Footprint of the Sport is so small and the mirrors so tiny, just never felt like they were out too much.

I wouldn't sweat it too bad. Sucks that the B&P is so opaque though.

Well, my garage is SO big that my wifes 2006 Ford Focus and my now sitting in the driveway Mazda CX-5 barely fit LOL. Luckily of all the things I "need", vs just want, are just fine. Thing with the mirrors is more of an annoyance with their marketing. Good news is they sent me a gift certifact for Ford stuff, will go a long way to offsetting the cost of cross-bars !
Just got home from the pick up, will have the new windshield put in as soon as it arrives.
Sure "feels" huge compared to my Mazda, but it really isn't, fits just fine in the garage, with room to spare !

To me, your last point is the best thing about the Bronco Sport. The interior to me feels pretty substantial for the size of the car. I am not small and I think it is a very comfortable drive, great headroom as well. Good cargo room. Small footprint. Just a well thought vehicle.

Tight parking spaces are the norm here so power folding mirrors would be a great option

To be honest, while I love all the tech that is now standard and optional, all I keep thinking just more things to break.
I kind of like the color of your ride, wonder why?

These days our cars are just computers with wheels and seats attached!

Strange thing as I was pulling into the garage last night, watching the camera and proximity sensors, I found that I still have another 6 inches forward that I can go, even though the warning light showed Red. This is really nice. And the sounds, while they alert me, are not nearly as obnoxious as the CX-5. I agree totally, Driving I felt as if I was in a larger vehicle.

So much to learn, need to get my head around the notion of no spare tire.

Hmmmm...I have the 2025 Badlands with the tech package, but don't have any controls for the power folding mirrors. Is this a last minute delete by Ford to cut costs? There is no real call-out on how to power fold the mirrors in the owner's manual.

bdewey’s post said … apparently Ford now has the Tech Package+, cost is $100 more

I haven’t seen that package with power folding mirrors but prior model years had power folding mirrors only in certain countries (not in the US)

Power folding mirrors is not stated online when ordering:

Outer Banks® Tech Package+
$1,795
Available on Outer Banks

Includes:
• Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0
– 360-Degree Camera (with Trail and Split View)
– Front Parking SensorsLane Keeping Aid
– Reverse Brake Assist
– Speed Sign Recognition
• B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen®, 10-Speakers and Subwoofer
• Connected Navigation* with 1-Year Subscription included, Pinch-to-Zoom Capability, Live Traffic, Predictive Destinations and Route Guidance, and One Box Search
• HD Radio

From what I can gather after speaking with them, this is a "new" + version of the tech package coming out. That is what keyed me to the difference, for the Outer Banks the Tech Package I have is $1695, the on on the Build and Price Site is $1795 and has a "+" sign next to it.

This even surprised the people I spoke with yesterday.

Maybe the tech package+ $100 is a price increase
Power folding mirrors might be available in other countries (see prior post) as happened with prior model year Bronco Sports
However on the Badlands, Outrr Banks and maybe other models, Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist 2.0 description includes “Power Fold” whatever that is

Does your badlands have Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist 2.0 ?

see post #12

EXACTLY! The tricky part is that little + sign at the end.

My new Outer Banks has the Outer Banks Tech Package ( note the absence of the + ), which added the Assist 2.0, but without the Power Fold Mirrors.

I was expecting to get the Power Fold, as mine is brand new but already built, so I suspect that newly ordered vehicles will get the "+" version.

My window sticker has MIRRORS - HTD/POWER GLASS under the Exterior header and FORD CO-PILOT360 ASSIST 2.0 under the Functional header, but ain't got no power fold mirrors. There is no power fold control on the armrest next to the power mirror directional toggle, like in other Ford switchgear.

It is a bit misleading when you order.
