So she got it muddy, taking trails on the way home from the dealership so I thought I better get stuff installed. Now that it has 800km's on it, I fabbed up and installed some rock sliders. After ordering parts from the US for my mustang drag car and seeing how everything is stupidly expensive now (shipping/customs/exice tax/can-US dollar differance) I decided it would be cheaper and easier to make my own.
Yes the rockers are super SUPER hard and you need NEW drill bits as well as a burr to open the holes up. You can drill everything but you will go through a box of bits doing it! Need the jack under the drill to put enough pressure to get a tiny hole and then use the burr to open it up.
Anyhoo, here it is...

No need to drill... its bad, I have a simpler and very pretty solution that matches the car's design. And:

Where is this taken? I swear I recognize the big flatbed from my time at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital and this area identical to where that was before the renovations. Sorry to bump the old thread but bringing back memories. I had 2wd Silverado I took into a situation I shouldn't have and someone helped me pull it out when the nose went into the much deeper water than I expected lol.
