Took my Bronco Sport Big Bend out on the sand on Carolla Beach to find the wild horses that have survived there for 500 years. Aired down the ties to 20 psi. Handled perfectly in the sand and accomplished my objective.

One of the younger drivers at the Badlands Off-Road park meet up the other day said the Bronco Sport, while nice, is really just an Escape in an otter box. I love creative razzing like this.

Oh look, two otters cooling their heels on slickrock mid-trail in Moab at the Off Roadeo yesterday. After five to six hours on a level three trail, I won’t listen to the haters for a moment. These are amazingly competent vehicles and sure-footed as mountain goats. And 18 degrees of pitch sideways through sand is a blast!

I will post more detail when we return. I recommend the Off Roadeo 100%.

My Bronco found one of its brethren at Petsmart today. I had an '88 Bronco II myself back in the day. I was hoping its owner might appear.
