Pics or it never happened.
Curious how the power feels in comparison to the 2.0 in the BS. I'm looking at going a similar route, but a low-option 2-door Black Diamond with the 7sp/2.3l. I think it can be a fairly faithful representation of the original - a little on the austere side, maybe even keep it somewhat affordable to a certain degree.

The fact that your fuel economy is near the BS BL is very encouraging. I already have several sub-17mpg vehicles, I don't need another. But will it have the power for decent crawling? Please let us know!

Not having any issues with the power of the Bronco with the 2.3L. But it has not been off-road yet and I'm still getting back into the clutch. I don't think I will have any issues with the two door with no Sasquatch™ Package. I will go from 33 to 35s when the 33s are worn out. Its hard for me to compare the BS to the Bronco. I thought the BS in Sport mode was GREAT. Very Zippy, To the point I would stay away from it and the tickets that would follow.

Hope that helps, no regents, it great for my daily driver that can go off-road. Another thing is I love the hard top with sound damping. Had a jeep back in the day. In the summer it was OK, BUT in the winter it was a killer for the noise leave.

Well last Saturday I went to the dealer for my 15K service and traded in my BS Badlands for a Two Door Bronco Badlands with the 7 speed (OK 6 and a crawler gear) manual transmission.

I did enjoy my BS but the Bronco just had the old school feel and look. Everyone enjoy and have fun. Mileage is the same as what I was getting is the BS, if I pay attention to it!

A LOT OF GREAT SUPPORT AND INFO HERE, thanks for both!!
Congrats. Done that. I've had expensive tanks of gas for similar reasons. Looking at my empty tank of gas, a couple of times now I've thought, ok...I need to go get gas, or a new car. Ended up with a new car. :cwl:
