Well last Saturday I went to the dealer for my 15K service and traded in my BS Badlands for a Two Door Bronco Badlands with the 7 speed (OK 6 and a crawler gear) manual transmission.

I did enjoy my BS but the Bronco just had the old school feel and look. Everyone enjoy and have fun. Mileage is the same as what I was getting is the BS, if I pay attention to it!

A LOT OF GREAT SUPPORT AND INFO HERE, thanks for both!!

What i think the post is saying,

1) They went in for the 15K service on the BS Badlands.
2) Instead of just the service, they ended up trading in the BS Badlands and getting a 2 door Bronco .

or more jokingly

At 15K service, with some extra money, your BS Badlands can evolve into a Full Sized 2 Door Bronco - Evolving just like the Pokemon do.

Congrats! Will you share how much they gave you for your BS Badlands at 15k miles as a trade-in value?

So...expensive. Got it!
What I call a Entremanure move to some extent. But I will say every time I drive it I have a smile on my face. So I'm going with it was worth it!! I did miss the clutch, driving it is just fun.

Curious how the power feels in comparison to the 2.0 in the BS. I'm looking at going a similar route, but a low-option 2-door Black Diamond with the 7sp/2.3l. I think it can be a fairly faithful representation of the original - a little on the austere side, maybe even keep it somewhat affordable to a certain degree.

The fact that your fuel economy is near the BS BL is very encouraging. I already have several sub-17mpg vehicles, I don't need another. But will it have the power for decent crawling? Please let us know!

That’s how I read it.
