I am looking for recommendations for a platform rack system like the Pioneer system from Rhino Rack https://www.rhinorack.com/en-us/products/roof-racks/platforms-and-baskets/pioneer-platforms

I was just curious if there were any cheaper but still well-built options that anyone is using?

I did Harbor Frieght bars and basket. Wish the bars were black but so far no issues.

Wanted to check in and see if you are still liking this rack and bar set up from Harbor Freight. I saw them a few months ago and was surprised they carried them so am intrigued. Trying to decide what to put on my rig when it arrives.

I, too, have the Harbor Freight bars (no basket yet). They’ve been on my BS for @ 4 years with no problems.

Lumber, and other long items, hauling. Also handy for recovery boards on occasion. The basket would be very useful , but I’ve been too cheap to get one, and I use car wash — not sure I could with basket on top
