Update sent pic to rough country. They are sending me 2 new brackets. I am also gonna get the other issue looked at. Thanks for all your help. Wouldn't have found the brackets without you guys. Appreciate it.

Hey all. Took my BB to the dealer today. They found this part of the lift broken. They welded it until I can find a replacement part. Here's the problem, I bought the sport used and have no idea who installed the lift or what brand it is. They said there is no name of the manufacturer on it anywhere. The dealer I took it to is who I bought it from. Does anybody know at least the name of the part. Anything would help. Thank you.

That looks like the sway bar link drop bracket. Could be from Rough Country or Ready Lift. From what I've read on this forum, both kits have had quality issues and were not well designed. The good thing is that IIRC, HRG Engineering sells just the sway bar links from their kit so you don't have to buy the entire kit. They made new sway bar links instead of using the existing factory sway bar links with drop brackets like RC and RL.

Wow. Great. Thank you so much. I honestly can't believe it snapped like that. Obviously others have had issues also.

I would ask if that piece can be doubled on each side . It is looking like the break happened at the most likely break point . Purely a observation .

How long are the sway bar links from IIRC or HRG lifts for the same 1.5” RC lift?

I’ve been second guessing the sway links themselves and was looking to get replacements. But now I want to remove the drop downs too.

If it was welded correctly,it’s probably stronger than a new one would be..

The broken link mount is an obvious point of trouble
From the pic OP you may have another spot to look at as well
Green arrows
Possible site of impact which may have been responsible for the snapped bracket

You (OP) really should have a mechanic look it over - MK is correct - there are indications of other damage in the photo...

That looks like it was caused by the broken add on bracket as it came apart and traveled up and made the upper impact marks .

I feel like if you bought this from a dealer, even used, they should have to take some responsibility as it was on the vehicle they sold. I'd talk to them about replacing it for you, or removing the parts completely at no cost.

I thought the same thing and they said no because it's not something they installed. I was kinda pissed.

Wow. I never saw that and I guess the Ford mechanic didn't either.
