I'm not sure how many are experiencing this, but my Badlands had an ETA of arriving at my dealer per the Ford tracker of 2/13. Original order date was 9/29, original production date was 12/6, but got pushed back and have been stuck in production since 12/21. My visibility report showed an estimated arrival at the dealer between 2/7-2/13, but my dealer said it was showing that it was built and waiting to be shipped. Flash forward a few days and now my ETA is 5/14. I reached out to the dealer to clarify. Curious if others are having this same issue and if they've heard from their dealers as to why. Not sure if it's the recall, a delay in a part, etc. Thanks all.

Yeah looks like you were a part of the batch that was on chip hold. Welcome to the club! There are a couple threads floating around on these, including discussion of the recent delays which people are obviously not happy about. See below!

So I figured I cleared it given that was a few weeks before me, but maybe not. Just brutal.

In the top right of the window sticker you'll see numbers like the below. The right is your batch number - 2402 and 1166 were the 2 chip hold batches.

According to a Ford rep there is a chip shortage that is affecting all product lines and trim levels and that is the reason for the change in production and delivery dates. He stated that Ford will continue to build the vehicles, but they will be sidelined awaiting delivery of the missing chip. In addition, production will also be cut down at eight North American plants (Hermosillo is not one of the listed ones). The one Mexican plant listed makes the Mustang Mach-E.
