Kuat Transfer v2 (2 bike)

Installed a Kuat Transfer v2 today. Chose this one because it’s the least likely one to obstruct my license plate and backup camera. Pretty simple rack. Can’t tell if it’s slightly crooked but everything is locked in tight.

My cop friend said license plate is still kinda covered in the upright position, but shouldn’t be an issue unless someone is really having a bad day, if you know what I mean. I also attach backup cam view with the rack in upright position.

Unfortunately not. I don’t remember if I could even in the outer position. I think it’s open enough to grab stuff though.

Good question! I was thinking for a moment that I had bought the wrong Kuat rack but this is important for me.

I have a Kuat bike rack (not the one OP has), mine swings down (with or without the 2 bikes on the rack) allowing the hatch to be opened (either the glass or the full hatch). With my one Ebike (50lbs) and one non Ebike just have to be careful with the weight.

The Kuat NV 2.0 pivots down, the Kuat Pivot v2 swings out to the side, check the Kuat website for more racks.
