I spent 2 hours with 2 Ford techs at the dealership trying to get it to work. The FDRS shows a factory code of "11111" and it does not work The module by the kick panel has no key code printed on it at all. The techs are willing to contact Ford but they warned me If it did not come with it from off the lot Ford usually says "Sorry We Can't Help You".so no luck yet?
i believe the code pops up on the gauge cluster center screen not the center display. but i know 2025 gauge clusters are different.
So I asked them what is the procedure when someone brings a Bronco Sport in that does have a SecuriCode Keyless Entry Keypad installed from the factory and it is determined the BCM has failed and needs replaced. Do you change the SecuriCode to match what is on the defective BCM to the replacement BCM or do you issue the owner the new code on the replacement BCM? If the code is truly "Hard Coded" on the assembly line into the BCM then why can't a replacement BCM be purchased and then written with my "As-Build data" and then in theory it should work.
On that note both of the Ford techs believe that there must be a procedure to write a OEM code into the existing BCM. They both say there has to be a way.
