Just hit 1400 miles on my badlands and intermittent issues started happening first was wiper fluid warning light keeps coming on every time I stop even after filling the reservoir back up. Then DRL won’t turn off when the vehicle is off and locked. This morning I can no longer use drive modes ?‍♂

That Drive Mode Not Available should have a Not OK button!
Yea, weird. Tried in drive and park and wouldn’t work, turned the car off then turned back on didn’t work. Drove it about 300 feet turned off and back on then it worked again.

What did the dealer say?
They said “ yea you need to bring it in” told me me to go to the closest dealer since the one I got it from was 2.5 hours away

It lies with the whole new car/model thing sometimes. Some will have issues, which is to be expected. That’s why the manufacturer gives the warranties as well. All the vehicles produced today have tons of electronics integrated into the vehicle. It can be a very complex system.
Several of the cars I’ve had GM, Chevy, Dodge, and Ford had one issue or another. All had warranties that I had to use. Nothing was so major that it posed a real problem safety wise nor did they need to replace the automobile. After driving each one passed the warranties, they operated just fine. But remember, any slight problem, take it in under the warranty. That’s what the warranty is there for. Any continuous problem, then consider it a “Lemon”. But that’s if the car just has too many issues or just can’t seem to be properly fixed.

I would like to mention in regards to any issues that any of us Bronco Sport owners might encounter. Any slight problem or even if you think that something may be unusual, please have it looked into at the Ford dealership. Reason being, Ford will track all issues and it gives Ford the opportunity to come up with a more solid solution in case anyone else is having a similar problem. Also, it’ll help determine wether or not a recall is required.
Also, I know some of us like to get a little grease under our finger nails, but let’s let Ford engineers and experts take the opportunity to come up with something that’ll benefit all other BS owners. Plus, we should post our issues here as most have been doing anyway.
This posting isn’t aimed at only one person in particular, it’s speaking in general because I’ve read lots of post with people asking other members what to do in different cases. ?

Yea, even though it’s not doing it now I’m gonna take it in to get documented. Paper trail is important if it ever happens again down the road even with the warranty is up since I can say it happened when I first got it

Yeah, I think everything will work out. My comment piece wasn't directed at you, I just think it’s better for everyone to report issues to Ford.
unfortunately, I haven’t driven my BS yet. It’s at my house waiting on me until I get done with my overseas tour. I am itching to take her for a spin. Lol. I hope your issues are gone for good, so enjoy the ride.

New model 1st runs are a bit of a risk, always have been.
Over my 45 plus years of automobiles this Baby Bronco is my first ever 1st run. I always waited two or three years on a new model, buying the third generation or older.
@ 2200 miles now and no problems what so ever.
I still wish we made our automobiles with American workers on American soil. I am so tired of forgein cars and the fact that we make nothing anymore it seems.
Ford R&D Is mostly done In Europe and assembled outside our lands so as far as I'm concerned Ford is a Forgein car company.
Then there is Tesla.

I just happened to have recently posted on another thread that I saw my DRL’s were on when my car was off, locked and parked. This is the second time that’s happened to me, but I do wonder if that’s due to driving for an extended period of time. There seems to be a cooling system for them on the Badlands. I am still curious though, let me know what you find out, thanks!

I've noticed that too--- lights seems to stay on random lengths of time after locking.

...i also had the wiper fluid alert this week, didnt do anything about it and it has not come back. (have maybe used fluid 5 total times...)

I like the lights staying on. It's like a flex since they are so recognizable.

The wiper fluid alert on the other hand is a straight problem. I don't need an alert every time I start the car letting me know my wiper fluid is at 85%.

My pre collision something or other alerts me on the infotainment screen on occasion, and in my phone app.
A small anoyance, I'll ask Ford next time I'm at the dealer..
Or just keep it turned off...
No biggie..

I had that happen to me yesterday. I was wondering why. I am thinking maybe something with the sudden change in weather was messing with the sensor, but I want to see if it happens again.
