Technically you guys are in the same yard. The gateway yard is Union Pacific’s main yard. It was built by the Alton and Southern Railroad before the Union Pacific bought them. Hence why KateF34 is getting A&S. I’m assuming that is what CSX is still calling it. I’m still in a black hole somewhere in STL. NS has no location, but UP said I was going to the Gateway yard a couple of days ago, so I can only assume that I’m there with you guys. We still must be on schedule because UP still tells me 9/30 delivery date, and that hasn’t moved with all the waiting around, if I’m still with you and they are planning on sending us up the Villa Grove sub, it’s only a 6 hour train ride from St Louis to Chicago. So my guess, if I’m still with you, is we are leaving sometime on the 29th. That would get us there at 200am on the 30th

My ETA from UP is saying the 29th at 2a! I guess we'll see!

Mine hasn’t changed since 9/24. It’s currently at Gateway Yard, IL.

That’s the big holding yard in East St. Louis. Mine sat there for almost a week.

Your ETAs are the same as mine so, I'm guessing it goes to the Chicago Heights ramp and then will be trucked to your dealer. I think that 9/29 ETA is to Chicago Heights.

That sounds about right, WI does not have a ramp.

Mine finally got out of Illinois today, after being there, all over for two weeks and is cruising up the wisconsin border! Hopefully it won’t sit at the final rail yard too long before the truck brings it home!! @Tink27 so excited for you!!

How do I know when it is at the final railyard? What will the NS tracker say? Mine is in Minnesota finally but not even sure where it will go. Mine is now on BNSF railroad I figured out.

It actually said unloaded while UP said empty. Shortly after, NS said it was reloaded.

I called my dealership today . Rig was in and pre dealer prepped. Drove down (2 hours ) picked It up. Easiest car buying I’ve ever done. OTD for 34500 plus tax and since I traded my mustang In I got to dodge part of
The sales tax.
