You can get your rail car number from ford chat, then from there I just called every number that someone posted previously in this thread and ended up following along with CSX bc it gave the most details for me (I found out later it was because it was actually traveling on csx, makes sense).

You are in Michigan and I am in Minnesota so maybe mine would come the same way. I suppose I have to wait a while to contact Ford to get the rail car number if it just shipped this morning?

The first time I asked chat for a rail car number they told me it hadn’t even shipped yet or something, so their info was definitely lacking but then I asked again the next day and that person was more helpful. I wasn’t able to ask about anything until about a week after it had shipped because I was on vacation with no service, so I’m not sure when they update it!

Dealer told me today that for the first time ever, vehicles are being driven individually to dealerships from the rail yard. Truck transport must be a pretty big issue.

Anyone headed to RU2G that hasn’t shipped yet? Looking to see if I have a travel buddy. ?
It's just the one rail car number. A lot of lines/trains are shared between providers. Call each of the numbers and you will get far more information from 1 of them usually. For me it was NS, with UP giving some slight additional info, and CSX never had any info.
I would usually just call NS but every couple days call UP to see if anything else was updated. Yours may be a different combo. But you get used to each phone line and how to fastest key in your railcar. Got mine memorized pretty quickly after doing it constantly for a couple days.
