what parts of the badlands come protected?
Skid plate under engine, two skid plates each side for gas tank, and small evac skid plate supposed to be under driver side fiber board. So 4 skid plates on Badlands.

Yes you are correct I had to remove the small skid evac plate when I put in the jcr skid plates. The jcr skid plates don’t fit the badlands without modification

I posted some pics under modifications thread on the sections that had to be cut. I am not sure it is worth the effort I had to do it since to return them was a cost. But basically I had to lay the jcr skid plate and then mark which parts had to be cut there were some in front and back. I had a shop with the tools help me. I removed the small Ford skid plate that is on the badlands on the evap side, jcr skid plate is larger and you can’t have both. Even if you order the whole setup from jcr with their Rock sliders the skids don’t seem to fit the badlands not sure why, there are sections that need to be cut or trimmed in order to fit . I am curious if anyone else has ordered those skid plates for the badlands. It however still is a doable project. I can take more pics from underneath the car later if there is interest.

I saw it afterwards. Thank you. I am interested. Ive been trying to decide on a path for skids. And I am leaning towards the Go Rhino sliders.

I thought I will post some pics so others can see that they can be modified to fit well with the go rhino sliders. One issue you can see from the pics is the low point bracket on the go rhino . As I was navigating some rocks it dented the brackets pretty badly but the sliders took the brunt and held up extremely well. I will be testing those skid plates soon to see how badly they get banged up . Using fluid film black to touch them up. Need to remember to wd40 the underside to help wash off the mud.

Is the tube section part of the slider bracket? What is its purpose? Was the JCR modification to only accomodate the sliders mounting?

Was the modification due to the rhino rock slider in the one picture? JCR said no mods necessary and you say otherwise. So I am confused. JCR has a sale right now and I am debating what I want to do.
