So i am going to send in my build specs to the dealer and I am torn between the cloth black interior or the Ebony Brown Leather interior.
Here is the issue i am having......... I want to get the exterior in Carbonized Gray and cant wrap my head around if the Ebony Brown would look good with that exterior.
Anyone here have that combo and how does it really look in person. Does it clash?
Appreciate any input as I need to get my specs in this week.

I don’t think it’d clash at all. I ordered the brown with silver/gray exterior. I think they’re all neutral colors so would look fine together. I just don’t have it yet to show any pics.

I got the Badlands with Carbonized Grey exterior with the ebony black cloth and active orange interior. Much better looking than expected.

I order the Blue Pier Leather interior with Oxford white exterior. I have always preferred leather interior over cloth.

Got my BS BL in carbonized gray (roof in same color) with the ebony/roast interior. I’ve had it a year and still love it — think it looks great though, honestly, I wasn’t sure from the Ford website prior to delivery and I’ve always gone with black or charcoal interiors in the past.

Thank you. The website really doesn't help any and real world experience is always best. I've seen the interior in other colored BS in person but not the Carbonized.

I went with the ebony brown leather since that was the only option with the premium package in the BL. Never owned a vehicle with leather seats before, but the dealer had an Outer Banks with premium package on their show floor so I got to check them out. They've got this beautiful neoprene cloth-esque accenting going on that I'm really digging. Nice way to break up the monotony of the leather.
Wouldn't expect the gray exterior to clash at all. Neutral colors are a pretty safe bet.

Sadly it seems like some options force the leather interior you may not want. I enjoy the look of my Ebony/Roast interior on the BL model I have. But if I had my choice to redo, I'd keep all the premium options, opt for Cloth Seats, and then reupholster in my preferred style so I could add ventilated/cooled seats without basically eating the cost of having paid for the premium leather once before.
