Mine is definitely a lot more… but I also came from a 2004 Jeep Liberty so that insurance was not much!

It beggars belief, but saw savings of $92/month for my new BB.

Some context: DC is one of the most expensive places to insure a vehicle and I've done hours of online and on-the-phone research with agents to pull the best price. My 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid cost me a staggering $222/mo to insure with Progressive. (That's with no moving violations on the record, but one at fault and one not at fault accident under the hood.) Being a hybrid drove the price up, as did location, and driving experience. All that to say, I was bracing for the worst when I called to update my policy.

The heavens parted and my agent said, with surprise in her voice, that my new quote was $130/month. I gasped and she explained that '21 models across the board are seeing cost savings with the enhanced safety features like lane assist, backup cameras, and blindspot monitoring*, of which my Fusion had none. From that new starting point, I decreased my deductible from $500 to $100 and got a $50 deductible for any glass incident all for $50 less per month than I was paying before.

Mileage may vary according to where you live, but I'm staggeringly happy to take those savings and put them to my monthly payment on the handsome-ass BS.

*Fun story! Blindspot monitoring saved my ass on a 3,000 mile road trip I just finished. on I-70 just inside St. Louis, I almost got kicked out of my lane by a trash SUV who decided not to look before merging. That orange blink gave me the split-second notice that prevented a high-speed incident. :handsinair: Praise be to new tech.

So many factors when asking for other people’s insurance rates - coverage limits/deductibles, age, driving record, # vehicles, bundled policies, discounts, credit, location, company, etc.

I have mine through Geico and pay $367.06/6 months ($61.18/mo). I’m female, married, over 40, two additional vehicles on the policy, clean driving record, good credit…

$100k/300k BIL
$30k/$60k UIM BIL
$25k UIM Property Damage
Comp deductible is $51
Collision deductible is $501

Hope this helps

Wife traded her Range Rover in for the BS and ours surprisingly only dropped about 50 bucks but we have really reasonable insurance costs considering Florida isn't known for safe drivers. $292.50 every 6 months Geico for the Bronco with full coverage, 500 deductibles and uninsured motorist.
No kid drivers. Tier one credit and safe driver discount pay off. Here anyway

Anybody care to share what they are paying for insurance/deductible and if it’s higher or lower than your last vehicle? Just looking for things to obsess over until the 10/31 ETA.
My BS BB is less than the jeep renegade by about $50.

What that is crazy, must be a typo you must have meant per 6 month's . If it is per month I would move. Wow I guess that is the price for living up there. Good luck with your new ride. Jim Pittsburgh pa
