Things had been going along pretty smoothly until the other day. Started up the BS and noticed that the radio was off (normally comes on to an XM station). The screen just showed the normal home page and in place of the channel usually displayed it showed SSID

i hit the "on" button (on screen) and the radio was tuned to an FM channel. I switched back over to the XM options i normally listen to and, while my presets were still there, they graphics that normally appear for each channel were missing and the station names were simply in block text. I selected each of the preset channels and upon doing so the graphics for each channel reappeared but i DID need to select each channel before it's correct "icon" would re-appear.

Phone connection (iPhone) is fine, no issues with that....

This has been going on for a couple of days now and sometimes the screen and channels will appear as they should but most of the time, they will not. Any ideas? Wondering if this is the start of some power/battery issue.

Thanks!

Upgrade to this ..
SYNC 3, Software Version: 3.4 Build 23188 PRODUCT

Ford’s online instructions are easy to follow, supply your own USB Device and the upgrade is quick

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/

You may be tempted to do the upgrade over WiFi .. just be aware some owners have locked up the display and the dealership was needed to reset the APIM and perform the SYNC update.

Thanks. Appreciate the reply! I’ll give that a shot
