Horn Chirping

A few months ago, I had the Perimeter Plus security module installed on my Outerbanks. Since then, the horn chirps at random for no apparent reason. The dealer said that there are no codes and without that cannot address. Anyone else having this issue?

The horn chirps as an initial warning when the shock sensor trips. It's possible the sensitivity on yours is set too low which can result in nuisance trips. There is a knob on the module to adjust it. The installation instructions include direction on how to do it.

Thanks! I saw that knob but the dealer installed it and do not know what level they used to set it. I will try to find it and adjust and see that fixes it.

They won't help ?? I have had the same issue gotten n chirps and honestly sometimes the alarm just goes off as I walk away from the BS. I know about the adjustment knob but I buried mine under the steering wheel so I'm currently just dealing with it
