I installed a set today, no issues, seemed like a well designed product with good instructions. I was concerned that closing the hood could be a problem, but it actually closes easily from the latch position with a firm push by both hands. I prefer this closing to dropping the hood from a foot, and quieter. Someone with a hood deflector mounted might have a problem in pushing closed, IDK.
