Well, I got the hood vibration mostly gone, the 1/4” fuel pipe helped a bit, the other thing that helped much more was using high temp epoxy and glueing aluminum bracing pieces under the hood, the vibration, it looks a bit ugly right now, I plan on painting those areas with flat black paint and I also have the under-hood liner, do won’t see the pieces.

Letting the Dealer install mine next Thursday. If I get the "bounce" or vibration, it will be up to them to fix it.

I tried the 1/4" fuel line, and adjusting the 4 bumpers, it did help a little bit. I'm going to order 5/16" on Amazon as a final try.

I used the 1/4" fuel line in mine, the 5' length is right size and just trimmed couple inches off one end and completely installed. Little trick is to spray a small amount of silicone spray inside the OEM weather seal. I left about 1/2" longer on each side in the event I need to remove down the road. I also turned up the hood bump stops couple turns. Will update once I take it out on the freeway at 70-80mph.

I tried the 5/16" but it would only go in about 2'. A little Dawn soap on the 1/4"-no problem. I also tightened all 4 hood bumpers. Seemed to help on the interstate.

As I said what all 4 hood bumpers?! I only see 2 bumpers on the rear hatch door, not under the hood... #OMG

Mine has been on for over 4 years on my First Edition 2021 . No issues.
Just guessing but I am betting that being a first edition your BS has the under hood weatherstripping on the sides of the hood. They just snap into the holes along the underside edge of the hood. I do not know what year they were deleted but they were deleted from my BS. I had some questions for the shop Forman under the hood and he saw the weatherstrips and said I was smart to add them. He said they would help with hood vibration. I don't know if they would help with vibration from adding the hood deflector since I do not have one but at about $25 for each side they may be worth a try.

As DWG suggested, I installed the two weather strips on my hood shortly after I got the BS. There is no vibration or looseness. This mod will likely solve your problem. I also got the Ford hood soundproofing. This part had a very hefty shipping cost which was waived if you order from your local Ford dealer and pick up at the dealership. The installation was very easy.
