I just bought one. How are we doing on the amber/amber set up? waiting to purchase my second light set as soon as that comes to market.

I don't get it. It looks like an extension cord. Shouldn't it be some sort of "Y" shape if you plug in both the original harness and the light connector? Or do you just end up splicing onto the extension wire?

I think the intent is to provide wires that you can tap without cutting into the OEM harness.

Thats right. This will save your OEM harness if you want to tap into the wires.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
$25 for the kit, you still have to do all the same work, plus identify the right brown wire to splice, and it adds two more Molex connectors to the harness. It's not for me, but I was fine tapping the factory wire when I installed mine a while back. Easy to undo if I had to. The same thing with a 2-3 wire pigtail coming off would be really slick though.

Agreed. I have no problem tapping into factory wires, but I wouldn't be concerned with undoing anything. If done right, taps can be as permanent and durable as OEM wiring.

I agree, thats why I don't see the value of adding that cost to the light kit but there has been people asking for it so we made it availlable. You are probably only looking at the harness solely for the installation of the fender lights, but if you want to run those as signal to a relay harness there are so much more customization that can be done with that harness. Ie. Lightbars. rock lights, side step bar strips, DRL strip, hood light strip, additonal fog light, etc

Im going to order the bundle with these + side turn signals, see how easy it is to install. In the future may also add the three grille lights and maybe even the lightup 'bronco' letters, I would think with this harness they would be fairly easy to add as well

I have generic amber pods for the grill. Its very easy install for the fender light. There is video availble.
