Your Flash(My Bronco's Name) equipped with FordPass(TM) Connect has been updated to the latet software version.

Simply start your vehicle to reactivate remote features including start/stop and lock/unlock.

Automatic transmissions and power door locks only.

Received the same. Nothing seemed to change. Strange.

Feels like this is tied more to a phone app update than to anything on the car itself.

Yeah, pretty sure it just updated the Ford Pass application on the phone. These app's update a lot.

I agree, but I checked and the app hadn't been updated in a while, probably 2 weeks or so.

I agree, but I checked and the app hadn't been updated in a while, probably 2 weeks or so.
The iPhone app was just updated 2 days ago.

Yeah the whole app layout is different so I'm betting it was that, although there was an update to the sync 3 system recently so you can go update that too!

Just got back from being gone for 15 days. The FordPass app gave me a notification that the Bronco was shutting down all non essential functions and I could no longer start/stop it with the app. It said to start the car normally one time and then I'd be able to use the remote start/stop again.

Also if you’re on iPhone, the new app update brought back the Apple Watch app which allows lock/unlock/remote start from the watch again. It was part of the app earlier this year but terribly buggy… the new version is a lot more stable. I am wondering if the Ford Pass notification had something to do with that.
