Was having trouble purchasing the update pre-loaded USB for $40 on the web site and the Here customer service was no help, then sent an email to Ford customer service expecting the same. About a week later got and email from a Ford "OTA/IVT Research Escalation Specialist | FCSD | Ford & Lincoln In-Vehicle Technology ". She asked for my VIN and I sent it. Another few days and her email said she would send me the 2-23 update for free, and it came today.... free. So I am a happy camper, can't beat that price. .... ?

Sounds like they know there is a problem and giving them free, sure glad I didn't mess around and try to download my own USB. I will do mine in the next couple of days, 45 min is less than instructions say so that's good to know. Sounds like it went smooth for you, hope mine goes the same. Thanks for the update.

There was a VIN problem affecting NAV for at least model years 2022, 2023, 2024 for some owners including for my ā€˜22

I received 3 USB Devices from Ford’s NAV vendor (on device #2 I debugged their problem and sent them how to fix). I suspect the issue is with the VIN Database but don’t know that for sure.

Finally got the update done on way back from family picnic. Xxtremeteam was right on the money as it took 45 minutes. I think the 2-24 will come out next May. Next I have to do the update on my 2011 Ford Flex that has original nav version. That one cost me $166 for the 4 DVDs to update the software and nav, says it will take about 3 hours. Good thing I'm retired and have the time. .. ?
