I have about 3300 miles on them now. They are coming off in a week and will have about 3500 by then. I'm in NoVA.

I'm gonna piggie back on this thread -- no competition since we just ordered our Badlands today, but whenever it's delivered I am considering selling the OE Scorpion tires. Is there any market for them?

Any suggestions as to where to sell them?

Your best bet is to negotiate it with your dealer ahead of time. I'd ask them to install the new tires of your choosing for delivery for much smaller price difference than price of the new set.

This forum is probably not the right place to unload OEM tires like Pirelli. I'm thinking that my best bet might be used tire shop.

I asked the salesman if the dealership would be interested in the tires, if they were removed before the Badlands even leaves the lot -- the answer was a solid 'no'. He mentioned a law that requires dealers to deliver vehicles that are exactly as described on the window sticker.

That seems reasonable, but in the same breath he said, "There's no guarantee that any specific tires will be installed by the factory." So while the Ford 'Build Tool' lists a certain brand and model tire, it could be something completely different. That makes sense, because if there is some problem getting tires, Ford (or any other mfr) is not going to stop production -- they'll use another tire.

I just scanned some window stickers posted here and there is no mention of tires at all.

Even this pdf from Ford only mentions tire *size* -- not mfr or model:
https://media.ford.com/content/dam/fordmedia/North America/US/product/2021/bronco-sport/pdf/2021 Bronco Sport Trims Sheet.pdf

So...that being the case, it seems to me that the dealer could take off the brand-new OE tires, give us at least partial credit for them, and install other tires (some size, ratings, etc) without breaking any laws.

Of course, if they simply don't want to, that's another story.
