As far as off-road, the two major concerns are tires and clearance. Both can be improved but as I understand, Ford does not approve of adding a lift kit and may void your warranty... at least on suspension components?​

As far as warranties go, no manufacture approves of vehicle modifications. (EDIT: Unless they sell you the mod.) Manufactures may (or may not) tolerate vehicle modifications as long as they don't cause damage to other vehicle components. But manufacturers generally frown on vehicle mods, and that's reflected in warranty documents.
