Ford will swap the 225 spare for the 235. You need one that’ll work with your vehicle. They have to be same size or will wreck your diff with an awd vehicle.
I'm guessing if that was the case, they would have just supplied the 235 instead of the 225 when we upgraded. I fixed the issue by buying a new wheel and tire to match. But people have gotten Ford to replace other things that were really not warranty so who knows.

You have to ask. Ford won’t do shit for you unless you do

Ok GL driving with diff sizes
Seems like an overly hostile response to a fairly straightforward issue. There's nothing in the Owner's Manual that prohibits using a different-sized spare tire. There is, in fact, an entire section devoted to doing exactly that. Perhaps you think I'm encouraging people to use a different-sized spare for the long term. I'm not. The Owner's Manual is very clear about that as well:

Drive cautiously when using a full-size dissimilar spare wheel and tire assembly and seek service as soon as possible.

My 2022 Badlands came with a full size Perelli Sqorpian. No tow package.
My Scorpions wearing badly. Looks like REAR alignment out of whack. I got Full size Scorpion in my 2021 Badlands. I don't think I will replace with Scorpions. 27000 KM's and outside worn out on rears.

People do it all the time. Most cars come with donut tire spares. They'll get you to safety, no problem. The 225 tire, I dare say, is a far better option than a donut spare. Can't imagine anybody would put that "different sized spare tire on" and forget about it, but for continuing on one's journey, and for getting to a tire shop? Absolutely no problem in the slightest using those "diff sizes."
