they are for me, which I’ve stated. It’s apart of the manufacturers warranty. They are not replacing rear pads.
That’s because the recall is only replacing front pads and noise is from rear.Update, pads replaced Thursday, Friday morning the sound continued. Called corporate and they said it’s within 12 month/18000 mile warranty on the pads to make a claim at the dealership and it’ll get replaced (rear pads)
That is correct, I didn’t expect the sound to go away but they were certain it would. I just dropped it off now so they can change the rear pads now - but they’ll be looking at the front pads again now because there’s been a significant amount of brake dust every 2 days. Hopefully the quality of pads isn’t causing this otherwise I expect the same issue to show up on the new rear pads. That’s because the recall is only replacing front pads and noise is from rear.
Let’s end this. They will only be replacing your front pads under the recall.I received a notice on Ford Pass regarding the brake pad recall; it says "front brake pads".
Haven't received my official letter...I wonder if it will say Front, or Back, brakes? LOL.
But...but... the noise! What about the noise?!Let’s end this. They will only be replacing your front pads under the recall.
