Corrected the typo; thanks! No, I didn't measure when new. If mine started at 11/32" then I've only used 1/32" for +15K miles. That's gonna take me far beyond the 55K warranty!
But you should replace when there is about 3/32" left, IIRC. That would put your estimated mileage for replacement at about 44k.

I'll have to blame my wife's driving ?. 3/32nds measured at last service. Ordered one size up for 1100.00 installed. (Canadian peso)

The new wrangler workhorse 235/70/17 fit the First Edition /badlands with a from factory 1/1/4 inch lift by suspension only perfect and ride is excellent,I have had them since March of this year . Plus you get the extra lift with the 30 inch tall wrangler/ workhorse tires. All bought and installed at Discount Tire in pittsburgh new store/west Mifflin. Discount Tire all about doing it right.

Alright, what about some aggressive tires with some highway smoothness?

I live in South Texas and there isn't much off road around here, other than some beaches. I don't think I'd mind the more aggressive KO2s, WildPeaks, or whatever Nitto came out with, maybe someone like me might want something smoother, longer warranty, but still more capable than what came with it from the factory.

Like I said. bs Raptor! I spent a bit of time in South TX for Ike and Gustave and saw plenty of opportunity to off road. Unless Johnny law is telling you no off roading. You just take a different route to whattaburger.

Well I looked at off road trails on AllTrails, Gaia, and one other site. Where I'm at, it's a good 2-3 hour drive to anything "official". Besides Padre Island National Seashore. There are some here, but it's not like something I can go through regularly.

Unless I'm looking for roads in all the wrong places.

@davidg4781 nothing better than the Michelin LTX M/S for highway smoothness and still has a M/S rating for anything you might encounter for light offroad.
Oh thanks!

Is there a sidewall strength rating? I had a flat tire repaired a few weeks ago and the guy mentioned I had very weak sidewalls. I'm also seeing more threads talking about sidewall strength.

As a general guide to sidewall strength you can use the tires load rating class, as follows.
LT>XL>SL
Additionally, within LT (Light Truck), you have Ply ratings of 12>10>8>6. An LT, D, Load rated tire, like the BFG's 245/65/17 KO2, is considered an 8 ply tire and a C, a 6 ply tire. An XL Load rated tire is considered to be a 6 ply tire as well, while an SL tire is considered a 4 ply.

In general I try to get LT tires for my off roaders. Difficulty is finding LT and higher load ratings in the smaller sizes that the Bronco Sport uses. Only one I can think of is the BFG ko2s

These look great! Have you noticed any difference in drivability, gas mileage, etch? I have a set of the Falken Wildpeak 235/65/17's on my badlands that will likely need to be replaced soon, and I'd love to go this route as long as there's not a huge hit to gas mileage and all that. Also! what grill lights are those?

Just was on the road last week and I was at 25.7 at about 72 mph for a couple hours. With my 235/65/17 I was at 26.5 so I can only guess that the main difference would be in the number of revolutions of the tires , that are taller ,.whatever tire you go with be certain of the actual diameter, mine is 30 inch exactly. If you go over that I think that definitely would be an issue . Discount tire did try a 30.4 and I looked at it just touching the felt liners .
