Here is a pic from the Apple App Store. Note it says “Update” and did not update to the iPhone automatically so had to do it manually. Most likely the reason for that is the FordPass App updates are not rolled out to everyone at the same time.

Well, whadya know, 5.12 for Android is out too. In fact, the Play Store offered an UPDATE button like the App Store.

Unfortunately, there is no info other than the boilerplate "performance enhancement and bug fixes" regarding what was actually updated.

Is “dark mode” a thing for androids?

Yep, as long as its been a thing on IOS. In September 2019, iOS 13 and Android 10 both introduced dark modes.
