The BMS reset is straight-forward. See the top video in post #11, beginning at 1:47.

The other video seems to be N/A since it refers to turning the "rear fog lights" on/off 5 times.

We had recall #24S24 done a few months ago and our Badlands is now a Mustang killer that gets 35 mpg!
Woe, if it out runs a GT40, I don't care if it gets 5 mpg, I will have it done 10 times!!

I now started to get notices from the dealerships about the recall. I figure I've dragged it pretty long already. maybe I have to get it done.

thanks for the response

My wife's 2022 bronco sport just had this problem. The battery tested bad. Her VIN didn't pop up as one effected by the recall.

It did the auto stop and wouldn't restart without her pushing the button. A few days later it barely started pushing the button so we got it to the dealer.

And it was at 37K so no longer in the bumper to bumper warranty. It cost $300 and change for a new battery. A battery which comes with a 3 year warranty; but, the battery in it that wasn't 3 years old was out of warranty because of the mileage.

The local auto parts stores had cheaper batteries; but, said the car woudln't start if they put it in because it needs a special machine to calibrate the battery.
This exact thing just happened to me 2 days ago. I have 25000 miles on my BS.

You'd think if they want to sell batteries they would know the reset procedure:
