Ford Bronco Sport ordering process - how should it work?

Went to the dealer and they showed some printout from a computer screen with some kind of error message and said that Ford cannot make our order before the next year so there goes the dream.
Got the partial payment back but still it seems like 3 months wasted.

Just start searching lots within 200 miles of you.. jus start looking. Might get lucky and find one somebody didnt want.. persistence breaks resistence

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t get all your money back. This wasn’t your issue for backing out.

I think he meant that the deposit was a partial payment (deposit) towards the purchase of the car.

Exactly. That's what he called his deposit in his original post.

I ordered a Ford Bronco Sport Badlands on February 1. 2022 and paid the non-refundable partial payment of 1000$ and haven't heard back from the dealer since.
