Curious if anyone has thought about making flush mount LED lights that would mount to (or in place of) the front fender vents that would light up alongside the vehicle on dirt roads and trails. Forest Service roads and things like that. Not thinking of marker lights or auxiliary turn signal lights, but something to light up either side of the vehicle.
Thank you, and look forward to hearing anyone's thoughts.

I know they make some that act as blinkers and as driving/ditch lights but I do not know of any that "just ditch lights" They're like $50 on Amazon

Those aren't "ditch lights", that is exactly the thing OP wasn't talking about

The lights I posted are both amber and white and have constant on for illuminating the side of the vehicle. They are both blinker and running lights. I have traditional ditch lights, thats not what the OP was asking. I also have a friend who has wheel well lights installed on his BSBL which do a fairly decent job of illuminating the road around the wheels surprisingly well when off road. FWIW, if you had just clicked the link you would have seen they illuminate in your preferred color unless you use your blinker.

I know what they are I didn't have to click that wall of text you copy and pasted. I have those equipped on our car. They are nowhere near bright enough to be considered ditch lights. Even if the Chinese company says so.

Those are accent/puddle lights at best. Moving violation at worst. There's just not enough real estate to engineer a proper ditch/alley light in that spot.

Better use? Wait until Sasquatch replacement parts start showing up and you can order the tiedowns.

Baja S1 pods are almost the exact width of that fender trim piece and there's plenty of room inside the fender.

Baja rock lights are still 400 lumens and even smaller. To me 400 lumens isn't enough but it's still pretty bright.

I'm curious to see how people with the 2025 use those tie downs. I've never been like, wow I could use a tie down right here. Maybe for a kayak?

I hope the 25's put a lot of reinforcement behind those tie-downs. As I recall on my 21, when I installed my side indicators, the fenders buckled a bit when I snapped in the new fixtures. Luckily, it pulled out

According to Ford, they’re rated to 150 lbs. I can also see using them as tie-offs for awnings. I think I’ll have more use for the upfitter switches, though. Just wish there were a full six instead of the four it’ll be equipped with.

I had to look up the tie downs for the Sasquatch. They are interesting, but I'm not sure how easy they would be to use especially using them and avoiding any scratches. But I guess if you are an avid off-roader or rally enthusiast you probably don't mind a scratch or two.
