Fixed: creaking sound when turning the steering wheel while stationary or moving slowly (TSB 25-2574)

Took in my 2025 BL for TSB 25-2574. 8900 miles. Creaking sound when turning the steering wheel while stationary or moving slowly.

On 7-29 they confirmed the issue and ordered the parts. Took about a week for the parts to arrive.

My appointment was yesterday. The repair was completed.

The issue is fixed and quiet as new.

If you have this problem, make an appointment and get it repaired.

How can owners determine whether their BS BL has that code?

Ok, that explains it. I was curious if they replaced jounce or the whole strut assembly.

No, just a few parts.

Hopefully Ford's fix for this isn't like the 1.5L injector saga.

Can't answer that. Seems it's all BL's and Sas. built before that date.

My S.A. told me the noise has to be verified before repairs are made.

Whether it will affect all the vehicles built before the date remains to be seen.

Mileage doesn't play a part in this at all. My BL has only 9K miles.

I had the TSB done about 2 months ago, it “fixed” it for about 3 weeks and is already creaking again, hoping to have the TSB done again.
