I feel a recall should be in place regarding heated seats. It's almost burning on high heat settings. Anyone experience this?

Yeah it is too hot; I put it on high til I start to feel it then switch to low. It's going to be nice on those winter mornings as the vehicle warms up since it heats up so quickly ?I feel a recall should be in place regarding heated seats. Not so sure . Today felt exceptionally hot to the point where I felt as though it would catch on fireIt only seems that way cause your body hasn't adjusted to the cold weather yet. It didn't feel this hot on my seat or steering wheel at the end of last winter when I picked up my BS
I have mine on low setting....works fineI feel a recall should be in place regarding heated seats. It's almost burning on high heat settings. Anyone experience this?
Drove Lincoln pretty much all my life, in comparison they are definitely hotter than anything that I have owned over the last 30 years or so .probably due to the amount on material between the elements and the surface . Just my opinion based on experience . Turn it down to middle settings and should be fine . Does not make it right but a compromise. First edition since March of 21 .Hi Brian! Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and mileage so I can look into this issue you're experiencing with your Bronco?
Good to know coming from a Subaru. Wife explorer has same amount of intensity.Drove Lincoln pretty much all my life, in comparison they are definitely hotter than anything that I have owned over the last 30 years or so .probably due to the amount on material between the elements and the surface . 28 degrees F°Just wonder what the outside temp was when you turned on your seat heater.......
After a hard days work it feels nice on my lower back and saves me the cost of electric on the heating pad when I finally get home. You can always lower the setting when you turn it on if you don't need that much relief. It will also help to dry out your pants in the winter time when you get in after shoveling the snow off.I feel a recall should be in place regarding heated seats.
