Finding parts in 2025 is difficult?

New here. 2021 Ford BSBB. Bought used. Wiper motor went out on Tuesday, spent 3 days stranded at a hotel due to the rain. Went to mechanic on Saturday and no wiper motor anywhere in the area. I called every dealership in 100 miles with a parts department, nothing. May have found one 154 miles away but isn't open till Monday. Has anyone else noticed that our Bronco parts are scarce and uncommon?

There is a wiper motor recall for a limited number of '23-'24 Bronco Sports, which in some cases may require a wiper motor replacement, and that may be the reason for a shortfall in parts availability.

Parts in general that are vehicle specific are more difficult to find. Dealers don’t want to keep inventory on hand for the “just in case”. Most are kept at central warehouses for delivery in a day or two. But I suspect @RushMan is correct regarding this specific case. Same holds true for our AGM batteries and in the case of my 2 door, the rear Bilsteen shocks which are on recall. They are saying 3rd quarter for those!

While you wait for a wiper motor consider applying RainX to your windshield. It causes water to bead up enough you can still see, and anything above 35-40 mph the water simply blows right off the glass. Unless it's a downpour, I typically don't use the wipers when it's raining--there's no need.

Unfortunately the supply chain has not completely recovered.
Manufactures have priority to support production. Parts then trickle down to warehouses that support the dealer network and then out to the retail market.
Aftermarket parts availablility is still sparse.

Welcome first of all, and I've been waiting for (my personal fav for belts & hoses) Gates to offer normal maintenance belts. Doesn't hurt to have a spare.
