My 2022 BS BB and I just completed at 3500 mile trip through Mexico and Texas and back with two weeks being spent in the wilds of Houston. The Bronc was a champ. No issues whatsoever. Coolant level was constant and oil level never changed. The back seat was down with all available areas crammed full of stuff I had to take to Houston. Totally full on the way back with all the things I had to mule back for my neighbors in Puerto Vallarta.
I generally kept the maximum speed limit at 70 to 75 mph and got about 28 to 30 mpg, depending on the terrain.
Seems like I see more Bronco Sports and Big Broncos in Mexico than I saw in Texas. I think I saw maybe 4 total the entire time I was there.
One concern I had was driving the vehicle for 12 hours a day (all highway/tollway). I wasn´t sure if the tires could take that much in one day. They were fine, though. Another concern was that the Ford app said my oil life was down to 50% when I started the trip. I talked to my Ford rep in Guadalajara and he said it was fine, so I didn´t have the oil changed before I left.
On my way back I couldn´t resist the pic of big brother and little brother at a hotel in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
