I am about to receive my 2024 Badlands with the 2.0. I don't like the way the exhaust looks. I'd prefer to have the exhaust tips finish level coming out from under the bumper - not pointing down.

The photo, below, is from AFE's exhaust, which shows what I would like to do. I don't really care about a 'performance exhaust.' My experience with those is that the drone and aren't worth the noise on the highway.

Has anyone had an exhaust shop weld tips onto the factory exhaust system? I am sure there is some custom fitting needed in order to get them to exit level and flush, compared to pointing down.

Just curious to see if anyone has done this - what tips they used and the cost. Thanks!

I love that look! I wouldn't add an exhaust system because if it doesn't sound like a V8, it's not worth it. Unfortunately, no system yet will give a 4-cylinder a V8 sound.
I may check out a muffler shop for the cost of a custom tip installation like that pic.

Thanks for the info on the vibrant install. I’m just getting out of a Honda Element and I loved the way Vibrant sounded. Deep sounding, similar to a WRX.
Can you please put the part number, I know there are quite a few different part numbers. Some are actually referred to as resonators which is what I had in the Element.
