Why does this always have to be multiple pages whenever someone asks about it? The dude doesn't like it, he doesn't need a dozen people defending it's existing or babbling about how easy it is to press the off button, ignoring his statement that he wants it off permanently.

There are two options
1. Forscan. Get it yourself or find someone who has it.
2. There is a hardware dongle for about $100 that plugs in and disables it. I found this list on an article about it, https://www.amazon.com/s?k=auto+start+stop+eliminator+Ford+Bronco+Sport&tag=hiride1-20

The article, https://hiride.com/turn-off-auto-start-stop-ford-bronco-sport/

This one says 21-24 https://www.autostopeliminator.com/products/2021-ford-bronco-sport-autostop-eliminator
I looked your links over, and I think I am going to go this route and buy a plugin eliminator. Thanks again.

Just bought the 4DTECH start/stop eliminator because I was tired of turning it off. They do a military discount and out the door was $89.99. Can't wait for it to remove that little bit of annoyance for the car.

You can also get the COBB Accessport to remove the feature as well as update tire size/MPG in addition to a tune.
do you have the cobb accessport?

No, considered it but just went with the 4DTech eliminator. Literally plug and play minute long install and my sanity has returned.

Cobb does not work with 2025+ to the best of my knowledge. The ECU was finally cracked last week by PandaMotorworks. Don’t buy a Cobb yet if that’s your plan.

These are the two settings I changed using Forscan. The first stops it from happening, then second takes it off the instrument cluster.

HOW TO DISABLE AUTO START STOP
SET PSCM.Start Stop=Disabled (default setting was Enabled with Angle Inhibit)
SET IPC.Auto Stop Start=Disabled (default setting was Enabled)

In my Argentinian 2026 Bronco Sport Badlands, does not show anything about Start Stop on IPC Module. @pantera155 do you know anything about that?

I disabled Start Stop on the PSCM but the icon on the cluster is still there when the vehicle tries to shutdown and it can not. Until that moment, no icon on the cluster.

I don't. It is odd how some options show up and others do not. I wonder though if you knew what to change in the as built if that would do it.
