Unfortunately the engine cover is no longer available new. Can pick up a used one or order a new Lincoln engine cover.

2021 Badlands, and it came with the cover & hood insulation. I guess if I ever sell it for a newer year, guess what I'm removing.

I never thought of that, but it's a great idea. I love my '23 OBX, but if the 2.0 is ever offered in the OBX, I'll probably be trading up. The engine cover would be different, so I'd leave that. I'd take the hood insulation, under dash panel, pencil/pen holder all off. I'll leave the illuminated cup holders and just order another Escape part to install in the new OBX.

My '23 OBX didn't come with either. I bought and installed the engine cover, strut tower brace, Redline hood struts, and the hood insulation.

Not Mrmike, but Hood Insulation can be purchased from dealers (both local to you and online). I purchased mine online (price was a lot cheaper than local and shipping was only $10). Engine cover is obsolete, so you would need to source that used via a number of avenues. Cheers!

I asked my local dealership to check on this on my HL. I have the insulation but not the cover. They said they can get the cover but they recommend I do not do it because “it can be detrimental and that is why it is discontinued”. I’m assuming bullshit and thinking I should add it (if not for any reason than the level beer holder). Thoughts?
Why would you think its BS? They would Want to sell it to you, not talk you out of it.
