Driver door won’t LOCK (not a setting issue)

Hey guys. Weird issue I’m having.
The driver side door won’t lock. Doesn’t matter if I do it manually, with the fob, or with the keypad.

Doesnt matter where the key fob is either. Even if it’s far away, and I manually lock, it won’t lock.

When I try to lock it, it makes the sound, and then when I open it it sets the alarm off (so the car must think it’s locked when it’s opened).

What gives?

When you say it makes the sound do you mean the single beep when you use the fob? Have you opened and closed every other door and back window to ensure they are all closed?

You lock your vehicle. How are you determining if the vehicle is locked?

When you try to open the front door, is your key fob in your pocket?

I mean the mechanical sound of the door physically locking. But it beeps also.

Everything else is closed and locked.

no the fob can be far away, all the other doors except the driver door will lock. And that’s whether it’s via the fob or manually pressing the lock or keypad to lock it.

Well the last thing I would try before taking it to the dealer would be to toggle off the Intelligent Access and try it again. Could be a software issue. But it sounds like it’s just not physically locking.

It sound like the mechanical locking mechanism has become disconnected from the electric actuator.
