Difference between daily tires and spare?

Well I just learned DT buys back tires. I don't know if it's all locations and all tires. But if this is the case, at least I would get something for the other 3 tires.

Depends on the location. I have a brand new Scorpion on a steelie that was my spare that I was hoping to trade in. Now it's being used as a weight to keep my garage ceiling floor from flying away.

I have a measurement somewhere on here. It's 29.5 I believe for the Badlands. Mine fits with a little room to spare.

Mark, don’t you worry about your garage attic floor flying away in a storm? I’m loading mine up with stuff I’ll never probably use. My wife refers it as hoarding. I’m just listening to all the alarmists stating the storms are getting worse and coming to a neighborhood near you.

I feel like mine would look so ridiculous riding on the factory spare that I would consider just towing it to the tire shop to avoid the embarrassment

I avoided that by buying a matching wheel and putting the same tire on it. I added a TPMS to it. I also plan to do 5 tire rotations. I’m not very hard on tires.
