This! He's playing the "good cop, NO COP" bit. Take it somewhere else.
Why not try and put a jack under the low side and try to give it a little twist ?

That’s the new self draining option for anything on the receiver ?

He agreed that it was crooked.
But he did not think the angle was enough to really matter.
He was certainly nice, professional and not dismissive.
Update on replacement yet?

In looking at your post again
He agreed that it was crooked.
(Thats the answer)

(His opinion is)
he doesn't think it will matter.

He was nice.
( because he was being professional)

Solution is
replace it with a proper one and make it right.
(that's the goal regardless of nice or opinion)

It wouldn't make any difference when towing as the ball will work anyway, but as a bike hauler, a noticeable flaw!

I have a bike rack that goes into the receiver and if it was leaning one way or the other, it wouldn't make any difference to me. But that's just me. I'm not looking for perfection and it wouldn't be worth the hassle to me to get this 'flaw' replaced. Get a perfectly level receiver and park on uneven ground and where does that leave you? To each his own.

Agree with to each their own.
However all that explains is you've conceded that imperfection/flaw is okay with you and you don't take the time to make things better.

Creating hassle is why people like you go away is why dealerships make it hard for people to have things fixed that should just be replaced.

I would be interested in knowing why it was un even and if there was a mechanical flaw build flaw in the hitch itself that it is twisted or has an irregular issue. Simply because if there is a structural flaw or problem I don't want to find out by having whatever it is that's in the tow hitch falling off.
?Could be something like it was not attached correctly and the bolts were misaligned on one side and they left it. Because someone else didn't want the hassle to make it correct.

' people with that thinking' is what I was implying (not you personally in particular.)
But if *some people
want to ignore the fact that it could have been installed incorrectly, or has a flaw,
*they *could be a hazard
