Correct file?

I own a '23 OBX. I currently have sync version 3.4.23188. I just downloaded the free map update Ford offers. The file name is Sync 32 and has 3 sections. Sync my ride, Auto install, and don't index. Is this the correct file for my map updates, and do I just install it like I did for 23188? Does this file only effect the maps or the whole sync system?

Yes that is correct. It will install similar to your Sync Version 3.4.23188 update. It is for Maps only.

You’ll need to also move the downloaded license key file into the Sync My Ride folder

Yes. But within the Sync 32 decompressed file you should have the 3 files you listed in your first post. You want those on the drive but not within the master Sync 32 file. And then you want to move the 4UST-14G424-CF.TAR.GZ zipped file into the SyncMyRide folder.

Excellent! I think I got it. We're vacationing to central Ohio next week. I will try to upload the new maps when we're on the way home just in case there is a problem. Thank you everyone for your help and expertise with this problem.
